Explore the largest city in the state of Alaska. Anchorage isn’t a particularly charming city, but it was the starting point for the construction of the famous Alaska Railroad.
Next, we strongly recommend visiting theAlaska Native Heritage Center, the province’s largest center for learning about Indigenous cultures. You’ll journey through 10,000 years of history through exhibits, dance and art demonstrations, games, and films, as well as by visiting the traditional dwellings of these cultures. A fascinating and highly interactive experience.

Drive from Anchorage to Talkeetna. You’ll enjoy Alaska’s breathtaking panoramic views. In good weather, you may catch a glimpse of Mount Denali, the highest peak in North America.
Arrival in the charming village of Talkeetna, known for its laid-back lifestyle and numerous craft shops with colorful storefronts. Free time to stroll through the streets.

Depending on your interests and what you’d like to do that day, we’ll suggest some activities.
We recommend exploring the surrounding area by hiking one of the trails that start just outside the village (an easy hike of 2 to 8 km).

Drive from Talkeetna to Denali National Park, the second-largest national park in the United States after Yellowstone. This park is home to the country’s highest peak, Mount Denali, at 6,194 meters. The park is strictly protected; only the first 25 kilometers of the park’s single road are accessible to vehicles.

Access to Denali National Parkis strictly regulated. The only way to see its wildlife and get up close to its fantastic ecosystem is to board the bus chartered by park authorities. We offer the most comprehensive tour, which takes you up to 100 km inland, all the way to Stony Hill Overlook. The onboard guide will explain the park’s history and the various animals that live there, and on that day, you might even be lucky enough to spot some of them. This comprehensive tour allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of the park’s distinctive landscapes, with views of the impressive mountain ranges.

A day dedicated to exploring Denali National Park on foot.
Your guide will select the best hikes suited to your skill level and preferences. You’ll enter the park via its only road access, Park Road. It’s not uncommon to spot wildlife along the roadside. Many hiking trails are accessible from this road and are sparsely marked. Depending on your preferences, your guide will take you to admire landscapes featuring rivers, canyons, and glaciers, set against a panoramic backdrop of the tundra.
Hiking in the heart of Denali National Park is a true encounter with nature…A mystical experience, dominated by an abundance of flora and fauna, and by the spectacle of Mount Denali, rising to 6,194 meters. Denali is home to many mammals: you won’t be surprised to come acrossa grizzly bear or a herd of caribou, moose, or wolves. You’ll observe a unique and unspoiled ecosystem, as well as a tundra that is colored in some places by stunning wildflowers. Many species of migratory birds are also found in this park, including the whooper swan and the golden eagle. Weather permitting, you’ll get a close-up view of the Nenana River.

The road between Palmer and Seward.
The road winds through Kenai Fjords National Park. Some of the scenic overlooks are breathtaking, and various stops will allow you to admire the beauty of nature, from forests to glaciers.
In the heart of the Kenai Mountains lies the majestic Exit Glacier, which you’ll see on a short hike. Continue on to Seward.

From the port of Seward, you’ll set out on a half-daymarine wildlife-watching tour. Aboard a small boat, your captain will navigate the calm, sheltered waters of the northwestern part of Kenai Fjords National Park in search of whales (including humpback whales and orcas), sea otters, sea otters, seals, and bird colonies. The rugged coastline of the Chugach Mountain Range will add to the beauty of the scenery. The excursion also offers the chance to get close to some glaciers.

Half-day kayaking tour in Resurrection Bay, one of the jewels of the Kenai Peninsula, departing from Seward.
From Lowell Point Beach, you’ll set out on an exploration between land and sea, in the heart of the scenic Resurrection Bay. Once a center for the fur trade, the bay also served as a shipyard and is now home to abundant wildlife. You’ll land on a small beach to hike through the Ghost Forest at Tonsina Point.

A day filled with adventure featuring a “packraft” expedition (individual inflatable rafting).
Your guide will first show you how to use and maneuver the packraft and explain the essential rules of water safety. You’ll inflate your raft and put on a drysuit.
Then you’ll set out to tackle the Kenai River. Over a distance of 12 to 15 kilometers, you’ll navigate the river’s calm to choppy waters (mostly Class I–II rapids). It’s not uncommon to encounter wildlife, which is abundant along the riverbanks.

A Day of Kayaking in Kachemak Bay.
For true adventurers seeking the vastness of Alaska, this authentic day trip is perfect for you! Between the two bays, you’ll paddle through a variety of landscapes, from the calm waters of the bay to the open sea, encountering marine life along the way. You’ll get up close to the bird colonies on Gull Island, including magnificent Atlantic puffins and other seabirds. The scenery changes as the day progresses, with coastal cliffs giving way to beautiful beaches that invite you to take short hikes to break up the day—and, above all, to admire the panoramic views.

A Day of Hiking in Kachemak Bay National Park.
Join a guided hike into the heart of Alaska’s wilderness to discover the region’s history and lush natural beauty, surrounded by mountains, glaciers, lakes, and alpine tundra. The area is secluded on the Kenai Peninsula, and its natural environment is pristine and well-preserved. As you wind along the forest trails, you’ll catch glimpses of the Kenai Mountains and the emerald-blue hues of the surrounding lakes. The region is home to large wildlife, such as lynx, bears, and Alaskan moose. In the cool waters, seals play among the floating icebergs.

A 3-day/2-night off-the-beaten-path expedition in complete self-sufficiency with your guide.
Alaska evokes images of lands at the end of the world, with much of the territory inaccessible. The temptation to set off on an adventure is strong, but is it really wise to go alone?
Together with some highly experienced local guides, we’ve organized short expeditions that take you by boat or seaplane to a very remote region, inaccessible by conventional means of transportation. Once there, you’ll explore on your own, with nothing but the magnificent landscapes around you, and sleep under the stars or in a tent.
Note: 5 to 10 km of hiking per day—intermediate level.
The guides are equipped with satellite phones and bear spray.
All meals are prepared by the guides.

You’ll meet up with your guide in the small village of Kenai. Board a seaplane bound for a mountainous region of the Kenai Peninsula. Your pilot will drop you off into the unknown.

As soon as you wake up, you’ll be surprised by the silence of nature—but also by its sounds!
Today you’ll climb mountain peaks, traverse ridges, and hike through the gentle tundra. This area is teeming with wildlife, and you’ll certainly have the chance to observe it up close. You’ll go fishing to catch enough to feed yourselves for the day.
You’ll cook the day’s catch over a wood fire while watching the midnight sun.

Return flight by seaplane back to civilization.
