Experience a magical evening under Alaska’s starry sky, searching for the Northern Lights. After being picked up in Fairbanks in the early evening, you’ll be driven in a van away from the city lights to one or more of our favorite photography/viewing spots, depending on favorable viewing conditions. Your guides will share their knowledge and help you spot and photograph the aurora.

Set out in a comfortable minivan on the legendary Dalton Highway. Explore the fascinating Arctic tundra of the coastal plain, where you can feel the ice just beneath the surface. Then, cross the majestic Brooks Mountains and Atigun Pass, the crossing point of the continental divide.

The third and final day of this incredible adventure in the Far North.

Visit the historic village of Wiseman, a former gold-mining community. Continue south, making a must-see photo stop in front of the official Arctic Circle sign to celebrate this symbolic milestone. Explore the mighty Yukon River, then visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post, located in the small rural community of Joy, Alaska.

A guided day trip dedicated to exploring Denali National Park on foot.

Your guide will select the best hikes suited to your skill level and preferences. You’ll enter the park via its only road access, Park Road. It’s not uncommon to spot wildlife along the roadside. Many hiking trails are accessible from this road, though they are sparsely marked. Depending on your preferences, your guide will take you to admire landscapes featuring rivers, canyons, and glaciers, all set against a backdrop of the tundra.

Hiking in the heart of Denali National Park is a true encounter with nature… A mystical experience, dominated by an abundance of flora and fauna, and by the spectacle of Mount Denali, rising to 6,194 meters. Denali is home to many mammals: you won’t be surprised to come across a grizzly bear or a herd of caribou, moose, or wolves. You’ll observe a unique and pristine ecosystem, as well as a tundra that is dotted in places with stunning wildflowers. Many species of migratory birds are also found in this park, including the whooper swan and the golden eagle. Weather permitting, you’ll get a close look at the Nenana River.

During your stay, you can choose to add two exceptional excursions from the following:

• Bear watching. You’ll be transferred to Homer, where you’ll fly off for a day of adventure—by small plane and on foot—with the goal of observing Alaska’s brown bears. You’ll get up close to these animals in Katmai National Park and Preserve. More than 2,000 brown bears (grizzlies and Kodiak bears) live there, feeding mainly on salmon and seafood. The park also features more than 14 active volcanoes, and you’ll fly over some of them. The colorful panorama during the flight will take your breath away.

• Offshore halibut fishing. Homer is the halibut capital of the world and is renowned for its offshore fishing trips. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you’ll head out with a guide into Kachemak Bay and enjoy the magnificent scenery. If you’d like, your catch can be packaged and shipped to your home! Gourmet lunch en route.

• Marine wildlife viewing excursion. Set out to explore Kachemak Bay by boat to admire the coastal scenery, including the incredible rainforests, geological formations, waterfalls, panoramic views from the mountains to the sea, and, of course, the region’s marine flora and fauna. Watch sea otters frolic in the water and bald eagles soar just above. Keep an eye out for humpback whales, minke whales, and orcas, as well as sea lions, porpoises, and harbor seals. Colorful shorebirds and seabirds abound on the rocky shores and on the water’s surface. Enjoy a gourmet picnic while breathing in the purest sea air of Alaska’s coastal wilderness.

• Go on a sea kayaking excursion to observe marine wildlife along the stunning coastline of Tutka Bay. With your guide, you’ll access secluded beaches for hiking.
